The interesting thing here is that I believe this was a shot fake, followed by an sort of under and up by the USF player and Gabby was able to land and re-launch herself to contest the actual shot. So while the leap is impressive it was not a great play, only saved by her incredible quickness in recovery.

UcMiami is spot on here. Although Gabby denied Pujol on the second effort, Geno was apoplectic on the bench after Gabby elevated on the fake.

Laksa - "How cum you no pass me ball?"

Pujol - "Spend a little time in the paint with Williams and see how you do, you dumb Latvian!"
