According to the ESPN boxscore, KML didn't even attempt one.
 
According to ESPN we had 5 attempts; 4 by Stewie and 1 by Kelly. Who would have thought a day would go by where Kaleena and Bria don't attempt a single three pointer? Very weird; the complete opposite of what this team has done all season long, they average 9 made threes and Kaleena leads the country in 3 point percentage. Just shows the affect Notre Dame has on this team.

UConn 0-5 from 3. First game without a 3 since 2002 National Championship game.
 
There were a couple of openings too but we kept pump faking one too many times. Kaleena had a bad shooting night.
 
They had our number. Great scouting by ND. (actually, they have played us so many times, scouting is not necessary.)
 
Very odd boxscore. We outshot them 44% to 41%, out rebounded them 36-33, even got to the line almost twice as much 9/11 to 6/6 and still lost.

Even weirder, we got out assisted 11 to 14. And of course 0 for 5 on 3 pts. It's been a long time since that's happened.

Is that code for "covered like a blanket?" Sheesh, as much as I hate losing to ND, at least give them, especially Loyd some credit. The shots KML did have were for the most part with someone in her face. Not sure why Geno didn't make more of an effort to isolate her on the blocks, as several times ND had smaller, weaker players guarding her, including Turner. In those situations, the team/coaching staff has to recognize that IMMEDIATELY and take advantage of it.
 
its been live by the 3 for a long time... UConn needs to take it in

Might as well add that Diggins was 5-15. UConn has outstatted Notre Dame all three games this season.

Yeah, no one should be complaining today about the team taking too many 3s.
