First time in what, 6 years? Thanks for the incompetence P and GDL.

Lyle McCombs would have easily gained 1,000 yards if he had broken any tackles or made any defenders miss.

You can't blame that on the coaches. LM goes down on first contact on virtually every play. Great runners gain huge chucks of yardage after contact. LM simply did not. He got hit. He went down.

IMHO, McCombs didn't deserve many of the carries that GDL gave him. We should have rotated backs and made RB a competition.

GDL's blocking scheme played a role in lack of success, no?

Good thing we changed the OL coach.

And I don't disagree with that. But I'm a GDL hater as you may have noticed.

He did if you count stepping sideways.

I like Lyle. Think he is tough as nails. But lets get real, he is not built and is not talented enough to be the every down back in a conference like the Big East. I too wanted to see a rotation.

I felt similarly about Nick Williams. He dropped so many passes this year it was unreal. Great return guy though.

We threw to Nick alot tonight with poor results and some of the time it's related to his lack of height as well as just dropping it. No one else gets a shot. Same with running back. What a drop off from when Edsall was coach at RB. This is a huge need for recruiting, getting a more physical back.
