NJ High School Players in the NCAA WBB Tournament

Over the years Rutgers can't complain with their recruits. Have always had more top recruits and WNBA players than most would think!

Historically yes but not in the past few years, I know they had injury/red shirt issues but they were barely competitive this year.........if they had even two of the top ten on that list they would have been a much different team

For some, Philadelphia is 'staying home' and MD isn't that far for southern NJ kids.

Rutgers best player Tyler Scaife did not play last year.
A year ago Rutgers had two players Copper and Hollivay get drafted into WNBA.
The year before that it was Betnijah Laney getting drafted into WNBA.
A few year before that Erica Wheeler was drafted into the WNBA.
Copper is a Philly kid & Laney is from Delaware but reppin Philly-tread lightly.

Here are the most recognizable current players on the list:

Miyisha Hines-Allen and Sam Fuehring -Louisville
Blair Watson and Aja Ellison (R/S) - Maryland
Marina Mabrey - Notre Dame
Alliyah Butts - Temple
Kelly Campbell - Depaul
Brittney Sykes and Isis Young (R/S) - Syracuse
Doniyah Cliney - South Carolina
Teana Muldrow and Teresa Ekhelar (R/S) - West Virginia
