[QUOTE="FanInNC, post: 5292373, member: 13050"] I'm curious to get the boards thoughts on the landscape of programs within WBB when it comes to NIL budgets. Obviously NIL is a major game changer when it comes to recruiting and attracting talent via the transfer portal - those with money to burn have the opportunity to build quality rosters, those balling on a budget have to be incredibly smart with how they spend and find some diamonds in the rough or scout some really great fits within their systems to remain competitive. I think it's pretty obvious that some schools like TCU, Ole Miss and LSU have money and have prioritized WBB in ways schools like Georgia Tech and Boston College have not. That's pretty apparent. This stuff is all kept under wraps so it's hard to get a real handle on who spends what and how they compare - but I'm curious if anyone has an grasp on what schools fall into what tiers when it comes to NIL budgets. If we were to break it down into maybe 4 tiers (High Rollers, At or Above average, At or below average, Not even trying) where would the power schools (and big east schools) fall? Maybe if anyone has a decent grasp on any individual conferences how do you see that conference as far as NIL is concerned? Maybe it's too muddy to even call. I don't know that I can make any good guess for the ACC. I do know it appears UNC, UL and UVA have money to burn. Miami for that matter has done well this offseason. ND lost alot but how much did it cost to retain HH? I really couldn't tell you about Duke or Stanford. State has swung and missed on pretty much everyone theyve tried and it's clearly about the money (or lack thereof) but they also had to retain Zoe Brooks, Zam Jones and Tilda Trygger and how much did that cost? So I really don't know how I'd make the tiers within the ACC other than having BC, GT and WF at the bottom ... probably Pitt too. Anyhow - just something I've been thinking about this offseason and it's hard to find any information so I thought I'd get this groups opinions on where schools might stand in the grand scheme of WBB NIL.
