There's something I don't understand about this year's Nike Tournament of Champions, which many consider to be the National Championship. I can tell you that won't be the case with this version of the TOC. If anyone knows the answer, please enlighten me.

The Vincent Cannizzaro division is considered to be the championship division, but there are at least two teams in the Clare Droesch division, namely IMG Academy, Kelis Fisher's team, which is ranked 8th in the latest ESPN National Ranking. The same goes for Westtown (PA), Jordyn Palmer's 4th-placed team, both of which are in the Clare Droesch division (see attachments).

12/19

Smith: 26 points, 14 assists

Douglas: 12 points, 8 rebs

At $20K a year, that's a lot of recruiting and scholarships given out to put this team together. They're right up there with Montverde, IMG, and Sierra Canyon in talent. But Ontario is a lot cheaper.

Great coaches can make a huge difference at the HS level and Mitty has the best. Not just in-game but in the fundamentals and smart BB they teach.
