...and the best part is Syracuse doesn't get to go because they are not one of the top dogs in the ACC. Only 2 teams at most from each conference . Would have to think it would have been them instead of GTown if they had stayed in the Big East.

Yes. Thats one major setback of joining the ACC. The ACC will always be Duke and North Carolina.

I wouldn't turn down an invite to another conference because of a pre-season tourney, but I also don't think we're getting "called up" anytime soon.

We should take what we can get at this point. Whatever keeps us relevent.
