The link is to the teams participating in the huge Nike high school event in Phoenix just before
Christmas. 96 teams will be there....6 divisions...black division tends to have the national elite in it.
Just a few UConn connections:
Christ The King is there.....Sierra Calhoun 2014.
Windward High....California....Jordan Canada 2014 guard....I have seen her
name associated with UConn targets.
St. Mary's there...Phoenix....Courtney Ekmark....preseason national #1 team.
Ossining High there....Saniya Chong.
St. Anthony's [NY] there....Ossining plays them in Westchester County on December 27 also. Ossining also plays CTK in early January at the Ossining gym.
They all play 4 games in 4 days....should be a great test for Saniya...one that will sharpen them for the NYS championship games.
The high school teams of Aja Wilson, Brianna Turner and Reece Caldwell are not listed.
