Nika playing at home

One of the most puzzling questions about the game against the "Crostian All-stars" was why Geno only played Nika for 10 minutes, despite it being played in her hometown and in front of her friends and family. I think we can all agree that Geno would never purposely embarrass Nika but having her sit on the bench for 75% of the game had to have been very difficult for her.

I haven't heard of any illness or injury to explain this and wonder if anyone here has any idea of what led Geno to choose to so severely deny her playing time under these circumstances?

One of the bloggers noted that Nika got banged around some and was moving gingerly. The limited minutes were likely a precaution.

Wait? I thought everyone complained that Geno didn't play his bench enough??? Now he plays his bench and people are complaining that he didn't play a starter enough????

“ Mühl did collide with an opposing player early in the game (though she stayed in), seemed to hobble to the bench when subbed out with three minutes left in the first half, and then appeared to grab her leg/hip before coming out early in the third quarter. She never went back in.”
