Just stumbled into a report by Rachel Galligan, who might well have been the one to put UConn onto Nika. An analyst who knows of what she speaks and among her things has a agency called Go Global Recruiting:

This caught my eye from the embedded video of the U18 FIBA European Championships. She shot 60% from 3 in 7 games.

I've seen Nika's videos before, but I saw several things in these two:

Outstanding court vision

Good decision making

Ability to deliver the ball to the right spot at the right time

Ability to score with the left

Ability to rebound inside among the trees

Ability to score in traffic

Intelligence (inbounding the ball off the player's back to herself)

Nice pull-up and three-pointer

Running past defenders

Quick hands stealing the ball

I'm expecting a sequence of behind-the-back from Nika to Paige and then behind-the-back from Paige to Nika for a score. Showtime!

I love her fire and intensity and her willingness to show it with an occasional gotcha celebration. And yes, @MilfordHusky I see them doing things that will have Geno smiling behind his hand.
