Really nice interview with Nika on Sunday. She has a very good grasp of the English language, a snag on the word competitors near the end was a good smile. So glad she is a Husky for me.

Interesting that she didn't know what the word opposition meant but used the word versatility flawlessly. Very smart and plays that way too. Also has never committed an actual foul in her college career. So many bad calls. Have to love her.

she mentioned Paige playing " over the roof" ( ie. over the top). NICE!

I've watched that segment 3-4 times, love it, kinda cuteness overload at that point with those two.

So nice to see her smiling and giving such a poised, relaxed interview as opposed to the somewhat "canned" post-game interviews she and the others usually give. Hard to believe the diff between her face in the interview the fierce "game face" she has. A thoroughly delightful young lady.

Nika just seems to be one of those who loves life and lives in the moment. If you're interviewing her, you're the one she's paying attention to, and she answers your questions as she sees fit in the moment.
