The "rivalry" was conjured out of thin air by Diaco. It was a ridiculous idea. There's no history nor animosity there between the schools and the fans (we'd only played them twice at the time Disco Pants put that dumb trophy together.) UCF didn't know about it (they weren't contacted about it), couldn't even figure out why he did it, nor did they want anything to do with it. The manufactured "rivalry" is an embarrassment to UConn thanks to Crazy Bob.

That trophy should be used for firewood.
