Nice shooting - maybe a record?

KML went 8 for 11, hitting over 70% of her attempts. Most nights, that would be the best shooting percentage for the night, but not last night, as Hartley, hitting 9 for twelve, did even better.
But Hartley's 75% shooting wasn't tops. Tiffany hit seven of nine shots, for a 78% shooting clip.

And not even Tiff had the best shooting night, as Dolson went five for six, to hit 83% of her shots.
Pretty impressive and I'm not done yet.
Topping them all was Heather Buck, hitting both of her shots, for a 100% shooting night.

Has anyone in history hit over 70% of their shots on the night and come in fifth place for shooting percentage?

I think we hit close to 70% for a team once - maybe against ODU, so I don't mean to suggest that the team shooting average was a record, far from it. I'm just wondering if there have ever been five players all over 70%

They must have done it in the Pacific game, since the whole team shot 70%

Ok, there were seven in that game with 70% or better. Not to take anything away from it, but MJ and LE were both 1 for 1.

If I add a minimum of three shots, then Pacific had four players over 70% (Faris was 4-4), which ties Towson.

If I pick a minimum of five shots made, then Towson has four and Pacific three.

Both were quite impressive, for different reasons, but I thought Towson, where 8 for 11 is fourth best, with a minimum of five made, was quite impressive.

So, by my calculations, we would have scored 198 points last night if Tiff had taken all the shots(63 - 21/3's and 7 foul shots). We need to keep feeding that girl!
