That's the only silver lining I saw today. Looks like they finally have 2 solid Wr's. I'm too upset to write anything else about this colossal epic failure. Thank god for SEC football. I just saw a 300 pd. d-lineman 1# freshman recruit run a fake punt for a first down. I love college football, just not my favorite team right now. Sickened by this performance, and was actually glad they didn't come back to tie it up. It's just unacceptable to me at this point, tired of the excuses.. It's going to be a long 2 weeks. I might even clap for Edsall now, well maybe...

Chandler did not play well at all, if it wasn't for the deep post which any div.1 qb can throw he was bad at best. Getting outplayed by an FCS qb at home, with less talent around you makes me think it's time for a change at qb. How many times can I see him throw a pick? Yes he was a part of this loss, do I like the kid and think he is one tough SOB, yes I do, but with this o-line I don't think he's the right guy IMO. He is turnover prone and that's not good when you play the qb1...

QB: D+ (Mr. Hoppy McNerves needs to Sac up and stay in the pocket and learn the skill of throwing the ball away from inside the pocket or checking to his 2nd man in progression or take a sack where he isn't looking to try and run)
RB: C (Lyle didn't dance as much as last year, Had a very nice run in the first half to set up our FG (joke that wasn't called a TD)
WR: B (Shakim and Geremy are the real deal and showed it....They must be pissed at the others for sucking.......Foxx dropped a 3rd and six that couldn't have been placed in his hands any better, so very typical of our wideouts/ when the going gets tough I get nervous and drop a ball ( ie also lemelle)
TE: C- (Spencer parker got free for an important 2 pt conversion, other than that some ok blocking I guess)
OL: C- (So average and no push off the line, Whitmer hopping around like an idiot trying to scramble every play didn't help them, Xavier got whipped, Mateas and Whitmer not on same page)
DE: C- (No QB pressure whatsoever, no sacks)
DT: B- (Pretty decent job running stuffing in the middle and allowing the LB to come in and whiff)
LB: C- (which was the most surprising part of all....Graham stewart not wrapping up on the last TD and one other, Yawin with a big penalty, Donahue was just average)
CB: D+ (Two big plays is Two big plays too much) Didn't create a pick either and gave up too much underneath and on 3rd down
S: C+ (Played well in coverage, but how many times did Obi and others get beat to the corner or not hold their containment and let their RB get out side)


PP: F (Not having this team ready is so despicable, and the fact that you are 70 years old and still don't know how to use your TO is a disgrace.....I just don't understand it.

Obi is a freak, and to think this staff would have had him glued to the bench... makes me wonder who else might be on the bench that can make a difference.

The WR's did do a nice job. Impressed. Now can we get someone to throw to them. I'm already in "next" mode. Now at bat number 12 Casey Cochran. On deck, Tim Boyle. And, please come back Lagrow. How easy would it be for a decent QB to take the job by the throat? How is it that you didn't have the confidence to just wait a minute or two.

KOR and PR gets D- as well ... on KOR's we showed NOTHING in terms of having a guy that looks like he has a chance to break one and take it the distance... Shak showed a little wiggle.. Don't like Foxx back there at all...Lemelle's a true frosh... I give him a pass this time on the muff.. It wasn't his fault we were in a hole by the time that play happened...
