NHL Playoffs Question

I have been watching the playoffs and have noted that occasionally a number appears in a circle over the goals. The number appears to be a high number, like 89 or 92. I can’t figure out what the number relates to. It doesn’t seem to correlate with any of the players on the ice. Anyone able to explain what the number means? It can appear at either end of the ice.
