So far, Villanova looks like they will win and maybe in a rout? 55-45 Villanova after 3.

Siegrist and Hurlehy look good. Siegrist may have some extra motivation to play BE player of year Paige.

Tied with 5 seconds left and DePaul in possession.

UCONN plays Villanova. The Huskies won by 38 in their only meeting this season. Siegrist had 15 points, but the Wildcats missed 28 three pointers!

Was sort of hoping for DePaul and their (lack of) defense. But Siegrist will be a good defensive challenge before the NCAA. With Muhl likely out, maybe we can start AG and give her that assignment and see how she handles it.

Siegrist was a stud during most of the game but was swarmed in the 4Q. But again, she came up big in the last minute of OT with a clutch 3 and nice paint drive.

And Nelson-Ododa might have extra motivation to prove that she should have been named to the All Big East First Team.

She's not a scrub. Siegrist was the Big East leading scorer during the regular season. She knows how to "score the basketball."

Yes, Siegrist had the best per game average and had she played as many games as Paige might have scored the most points in the season. But Madison was the only VU player on the above list; she was/is the primary scorer. UConn has 3 players on the list above; Beuckers wasn't the only offensive option.
It's the old story that statistics can be played all kinds of ways.

Paige doesn't get to vote. Compare the stats. Paige then Maddy. FG% .531 .485 / 3 point .464 .350 / FT .820 .779
Rebounds 100 207 / Assists 134 40 / TOs 54 50 / St 51 30 / Blks 7 20. Paige has the edge in most categories, and if Maddy played for UConn, she wouldn't have nearly as many rebounds. Also, Paige hasn't been hitting on her shot attempts as well as she was a few weeks ago. Remember, Paige is a freshman. Maddy was there last year.

Creighton bumps out the Hall, so seeds 1,2,5,6 advance. Tough one for the Hall - DePaul reeling and clinging to one win over Kentucky. Wonder what the bid count will be.

I say only UConn and Marquette should get in. DePaul one and done in the BET for the fist time ever. May limp in. SH was up by 12 in 3rd Q but incredible long range shooting by Creighton including their freshman overwhelmed SH. And AEH did not really show up when needed.
