Newton's Milestone

Very odd that has been little discussion that Newton got his 2,000 point in the championship game. Maybe it has been, but I haven't personally seen any discussion.

He was so close to hitting 1,000 career points with UConn too, I think he came up 5 short of making the list. Being on the wall as one of the Huskies of Honor is way cooler than making the 1,000 point club though.

I hope we hear more from him on Saturday about his number being hoisted. He had to be blown away.
