31 three throw attempts vs 8. Obviously the competition is different but he needs (and can) be aggressive and attack the basket. Maybe the next couple of games will be a good opportunity to get him going again.

Andre was injured those early games. Newton had the ball in his hands a lot more. Not the only factor clearly but a factor nonetheless.

The BE teams have scouted him. Does not finish very well at the rim. Looks to pass, or throw up junk at the hoop. The other weird thing about him, when he goes right he uses his left hand a lot, and when he goes left , he uses his right hand. In BE play he gets no calls too.

Yeah, you can't compare those first three games with anything happening now as there was no AJax at all. But it would be somewhat fair to look at Newton's PKI figures when AJax was coming off the bench. Those numbers are also better than what Newton's put up lately. I wonder if Newton still hasn't figured out how to work with Andre.

Other than one time when Sanogo hit Andre cutting to the hoop, I'm at a loss to think of any instances where AJax received an assist. I wonder if our guards even look for him once they start running a play.

It seems Newton and AJ both thinking they are the point guard is a bigger issue than many think.

Newton believes he is the point guard and came her to be it.
Jackson thinks he is the point ( guard or forward) and Hurley pushed that narrative all off-season.

I personally feel Newton should be the point without the pressure of Jackson thinking he is the point.

Hurley created this

If Newton and Jackson can't be on the floor at the same time, then we need to make that happen. Stop trying to force them together.

Either start Jackson with Newton as the 1st pg off the bench or vice versa. Somethings gotta give.
