Hi All,
I will be running the New York City Marathon this year with Team Grassroots Soccer. The marathon runs through 5 of 6 boroughs only missing Storrs. Grassroots Soccer is a wonderful organization that's uses soccer to reach out to children in developing countries and provides health education and health care to those in need. As a lifelong soccer player, I know how powerful and unifying the game can be and I am thrilled to be running with this team. Please consider donating if you can And shpwing that NYC is part of UConn country. I will be matching the first $1000 donated to my page dollar for dollar. Grassroots Soccer is rated 98% by Charity Navigator an independent agency that evaluates the effectiveness of charities and your donation is tax deductible.
