Men play at Tulane Saturday, January 2nd at 7:30pm.

Not a bad excuse to go to the Big Easy, catch some hoops, enjoy the Quarter and get out over a holiday weekend. Bonus is that during the winter the French Quarter doesn't stink as bad as it does during the hotter months.

This is looking like a good trip to make.

I went to last year's game in NOLA. Almost half the crowd were UConn fans. It's a really small gym and there isn't a bad seat in the house. Sat a couple rows behind Calhoun. I'd highly recommend going.

During Mardi Gra, at 21 the beads were real and priceless, at 47 the beads are fake and 'dollar store' cheap.

You don't have to hang out on Bourbon st. There are a bunch of other neighborhoods less touristy that are as fun. The Marigny, Bywater, Uptown, Treme.
