Let's face it conference affliation is necessary at least to get crappy[read any] bowl ties as well as making scheduling easier. But lets face it, the product is quite horrible except the first tier rights would at least be only slightly less interesting as Big East football games today. So my question is there any possible chance that the schools can keep their tier 2 + tier 3 games? For UConn it would be wildly beneficial so we dont have to subsidize Tulane, and lets be honest it would be better for each school to be able to distribute their product in their market than having the games exclusively relegated to ESPN3.

Good questions. Boise, SMU and a couple other schools might be interested in these questions as well.
