I'm sold. Short sightedly but understandably, we tend to evaluate new pieces based on the small sample size of the pre-new years games.

And then we look ahead to march, cutting and pasting December's team into the bracket.

But every year we have the guy(s) we never counted on to rise up mid season and bring the team to the next level.

JS isn't being given the credit he's due after the way he shut down Dixon in the first half while leading us in scoring and he continued to play well the whole game.
If I recall correctly, he had two blocks on Dixon in the first half.
