Ken Sweitzer will be the new sideline reporter for UConn football on WTIC radio. Takes over for newly minted TV star Kevin Nathan.

Yeah, well how many times did Emily lead UConn down the field in the pouring rain in the last minute on the road and throw a TD pass on the last play of the game? Then follow it up with another endzone completion for 2 points and the win? I'm thinking zero.

I would like to see Casey Cochran replace Joe D as the play-by-play voice for UConn football. Let Joe stick to hoops and diversify the IMG/UConn radio network. Wayne-o is a good color guy..he can stay.

I'm not sure Casey is the right guy for this. We would need an experienced vocal guy that can really make You want to listen. Wayne is the perfect color guy. Joe should only be doing hoops in my opinion.

I don't care who the radio sideline reporter is as long as the TV sideline reporter is a smart, knowledgeable, football savvy, beautiful, young, talented, ex cheerleader or female athlete or sports communications major with a sense of humor I'll be happy. UConn nation deserves it.
