NBA teams are showing up at uconn practices and taking them seriously. I've mentioned elsewhere that this boosts player retention quite a bit. Even so, they'll be playing more guys and spreading the minutes around this year.
They experiment with different systems in live practice and see what works. The staff has a particular philosophy to determine what "works" means, but the exact system can be adapted to personnel. I think this means getting experience against different defensive setups as well.
DH talking about having access to higher tier prospects but not losing sight of the personal and culture fundamentals.
also a lot of low clingan draft takes are based on his playing while not in shape/completely healthy. it's why his more recent play/workouts are more important to teams.
