New Husky Logo - All White Version

Someone asked me to start a separate thread for this.

In my opinion the husky logo needs to be an all white husky. This is what made our husky unique. This is what made the UCONN Husky different from all the other huskies out there.

There are a lot of changes coming for our university and our teams over the next couple months. New Conference, new rivals, and now a new husky logo. Let's keep at least a little tradition - the all white husky.

I know not everyone will agree with me but if you do let your opinion be heard.

Penfield, excellent, you took off the blue toupee!

Several of us prefer Penfield's all-white version. Skiblets makes a good point that the blue toupee matches the blue of the UConn logo. It does look sharper. BUT, the All-White Husky screams UConn. The new logo, well, we'll get used to it, but Northeastern and Washington have similar Huskies (not designs). Is there another All-White Husky in all of College Sports? I don't think so. Penfield's version is both sharp, cool and tied to UConn at the same time.

If you agree, maybe bump this up and the UConn office will take a look.

Hey Pen can you do your magic and touch up the husky in this graphic? I want to make love to this graphic. I'd like to see what your version looks on this if you can do it.

I really prefer the white version. Both are good but the white one is great looking and stays with tradition. I hope the logo is tweaked.

This white one is much better and acceptable to me as someone who likes our old one. Get it to UCONN. I think there'd be much less objection to this one. The one UCONN has proposed is too wolf-like and reminds me of the Minnesota Timberwolves. The great thing about our old Husky was it was distinctive.

The great thing about our old Husky was it was distinctive.

Because it wasn't a husky. It was a Samoyed.

I really like this whiter husky....easier continuity from the old husky...and still has the blue and red...and makes it less like the other husky teams and more like UCONN...please switch to the white!

The real one looks a lot better than yours, IMO. I don't know where you get this illusion that all huskies are all white either.

SO AWESOME. I look at this version and I can envision wearing it, seeing it, getting used to it. People will fear it. And it still holds a slightly unique quality in the all white husky. If they are going to change it, THIS needs to be the logo.
