UHart is now division 3New Haven gets a "D" on Forbes 2024 College Financial Grades. It's listed as a "college at risk for closing" along with Hartford and Albertus Magnus in Connecticut. It's like UNH and Hartford are experimenting on whether D1 sports hurts or helps.
Yes. My point was that Hartford moved down and UNH moved up. So it's like an experiment to see if D1 sports helps or hurts dig out of financial trouble. I tend to think D3 is the better decision. It costs a lot less and NEC membership isn't bringing in money or interest.U

I sat the bench and watched my teammates battle it out against 4 teams in our league that are now DI.2nd school I used to play against that went to D1. Is there just not money in D2?
It's a lot of fun watching the arms race between Fairfield and Sacred Heart. My son is playing in hockey tourney at the $75mil arena at Sacred Heart in a couple of weeks. That campus has changed a little bit…
They had some very high quality head coaches like Tony Sparano and Mark Whipple.Back in the day, they used to have one of the top DII football teams year in and year out but not sure how they are these days.
