Given the number of schools involved, it would probably make the most sense to split the schools evenly into three pods, as follows:
Pod A:
UConn
Pod 2:
Cinci
Pod C:
USF
For football, you play every team in your pod once, with annual crossovers against the teams in the other pods.
In basketball, you play the teams in your pod twice (home & home), with neutral site games against teams from the other pods.
In every sport, the winner from each pod advances to the league's championship game.
All teams are required to sign a grant of rights, which is post dated to 12/31/13 and revokable prior to that date with 30 days' prior written notice.
