Welcome James. Another big body up front.

congratulations to the big fella. What do people think looks like a 3-4, defensive end to me? He is in a defensive player 3 point stance even on offense. Could be an OG, as well with some size added. If he is a DE, you could see where Diaco is taking this defense, with Atkins, Lawley and Diggs.

Another big athlete. Looks more like a DE than OT to me. He already looks big, not sure how well he would carry more weight. Looks like he can move a little bit. Good motor on defense.

Could be a stud at guard if he bulks up. Our strength coach will turn him into a tree trunk. This might be our replacement for Lamont Bradford. (still hope we get Bradford)

Luv it seems like he is a kid that has lots to offer:
3-4 de
potential pass rushing dt on passing down
or possibly one of 4 positions on the offensive line

Need more building blocks like this:
put the red shirt on him, get him on a meal/strength plan and coach the hell out of him

like what the new staff is doing...april scrimmage will be fasciniating

I see OT written all over him after a year in a college football weight room.

Team of the year: Blair Academy went 6-2 and won the Mid-Atlantic Prep League championship.

Blair opened the season 1-2, but won its final five games with notable victories over Peddie and Lawrenceville.

The MAPL title came down to the final game of the season, when Blair beat Peddie, 13-6, for its sixth league title. Both teams were 4-0 in MAPL play and it was the 110th time the teams had played each other. The game came down to the wire. Anterio Bateman scored on a 56-yard run and Quashae Hendryx on a 5-yard run, but Peddie came back to make it 13-6 and was driving at the end when Lawrenceville's Demetrius Daltirus intercepted the final pass in the end zone in the final seconds to secure the title.

Welcome to the Dog Pound, James!!!

1st team All Prep New Jersey on defense.
Looks like a 3/4 defensive end at the next level.

Welcome to Storrs James

I was thinking his tackling ability may earn him a long look at DL...but I'm not sure if the speed is there.

One thing for sure is HCBD is bringing in some size in this class. You win games in the trenches and that seems like his attitude on recruiting this year.

Atkins is now rated and getting two stars from Rivals. Nothing else there yet or ratings from other sites.
