OT: Netgear Nighthawk Modem/Router

Just bought a router/modem combo today and set up seemed simple, but no internet at all.

Logged onto admin website and even looks good. What did I do wrong?

Unplug it, count to ten, then use your phone until bb season starts.

What device are you trying to set up? One tip I was given here (jmick, I think) is to set the password the same as your old modem so you don't have to reset all devices.


Also, you may need to contact your provider. I had to call charter and have them set the router up on their end too.

That's it. For some reason, that step wasn't included in the manual and I had to do some digging in to find the real last step.

If you connect with a network cable directly to the router, do you have internet?
