If before each season I put $100 on uconn to win it all, roughly how much would I have today?

I looked into this and never posted when @August_West asked the same question. If you were to put $100 down every season from 1998-99 to 2021-22 you'd have have put down $2400 and won ~$11350, so a net of $9750. Preseason odds were +6500 in 2014, +4000 in 2011, +400 in 2004. A little more difficult to find for 1999 but they were +450 going into the tournament so this may actually be slightly understated

I put 100$ on UConn to win the championship the next year every May since 2012. I won $6,000 in 2014, and lost 100$ the other seasons... so I should be at +$5100 now. If we win tonight, I believe I get another $1,950.

I may have put down more in 2014 to get 6k... that seems high. Not 100% sure though.

I thought this was a trick question and almost posted "$100" ... :) Odds were 60:1 so $6,000 with a win tonight. Since we average a win every 5 years, laying $100 on UConn at the start of every season is a much safer and better investment than the stock market.

Best financial advice I have gotten in the last year!
