I've never bought tickets from a scalper, but am seriously considering doing so for tomorrow night's game (Ticketmaster still claims no tickets, and calling the UConn ticket office just gets you an electronic phone tree that directs you to Ticketmaster. Big help, that).

So, if anybody can give advice as to where scalpers tend to be, any "etiquette", etc., I'd appreciate it.
Thanks!

Try the ticket window first.

Get there early, so you have time to negotiate if needed.

Look needy. :)

Good luck!

pinot will have no problem with that. Educating Ursus at G-burg wasn't cheap.

.

Just to cover all bases - have you called the TicketBastards 800 number? Sometimes their web site is full of you-know-what.

There usually is a scalper or two standing right in front of Gampel between the box office and the north entrance. It's the same folks all the time, so there's not really much hassle or chance of being cheated.

i usually bump into them in front of the Husky statue outside of Gampel - sometimes a little further down the sidewalk - lol

For this game it is high probablity you will have no issue getting tickets at the "window" or from a fellow fan with extras. Try to pay what ever is face value for this game. The CLOSER to game time the more anxious the sellers become, especially when it is a low population game.
