What's up with Notre Dame playing at Wake Forest? I know they won't come to East Hartford? Is there something to the deal with Wake Forest, like a 2 for 1 or something?

Wake is definitely scheduled to play there next year. ND will travel to recruiting hot spots.

Is Winston Salem really a recruiting hot spot? I don't know the ins and outs of Football recruiting by any stretch, but that seems hard to believe. Looking at future schedules it looks like a 2-1.

How annoying is that? We can't get them to play at the Rent (even though they are supposedly affilated with the BE), yet they play at WF?

Winston Salem isn't exactly a recruiting hotbed...I wouldn't imagine it is a big alumni area either.

All I can imagine is that this is a 2 for 1. If not, what a slap in the face to UConn.

Wake Forest's president was the university provost at Notre Dame prior to moving to WF.

The schools had previously agreed to play in South Bend on Nov. 17, 2012. The new two-game home-and-home series is separate from the 2012 game.

Thanks Internet Cop. I wouldn't "care" about ND if we didn't have a 5 game deal with them fall apart recently because they refused to come to EH and then I see them at a 31k seat Stadium in the middle of nowhere this past weekend on TV. I was just wondering if there was something to it, and I got some information. But hey if the 4 threads on Sandusky are more your speed knock yourself out.
