Florida there and not Louisville is amazing, 5 SEC teams in the top ten, the BCS has an obvious SEC slant

That is why they are called polls...Another word for opinion...
Not always an accurate evaluation of a teams actual dominance of their sport. So many teams never get to play head to head it is simply opinions.........

The polls are not based on the last game, they are based on the season. At the end of the day Lville lost to a bad UConn team and an average Cuse team. Florida has a much more impressive resume.

And yet the system for selecting who gets to play in the national championship game, and the playoffs in the future, incorporates said opinion polls as a major component of the selection process...
