NCAA Tourney Attendance: up overall, but not where start times are bad

Some teams got great attendance in the first two rounds.

Others not so much, like guess where. ESPN dictates start times, wanted to show UConn nationally. The only team getting this treatment.

Flattering, but the 9:00 p.m. EDT start didn't help local attendance.

Maryland had much better game times, has a larger student body, has a Metro stop adjacent to campus, and has 1-2 million people within a 15 mile radius of campus.
