The NCAA announced their plans for the upcoming NCAA Tournament.
-- 64-team field
-- Teams don't necessarily have to have a winning record to be considered for at-large berths
-- Seedings won't take geography into account (which makes sense, if the tournament is going to be held in a small geographic region).

Bowl season has become completely irrelevant w/ mediocre and even bad teams receiving invites. I can't believe there won't be enough deserving teams for a 64 team field that they'll have to resort to taking teams that can't even manage a winning record.
