I have UVA as national runner-up in my bracket (wtf was I thinking), but I really wouldn't mind them losing this game. The ACC really needs to be knocked down a peg.

Also, there is good defense and then there is poor offense. 23-18 at the half has more to do with poor offense than good defense.

Virginia peaked months ago. Too many injuries. DOA even if they somehow survive today.

Wow. I'm extremely impressed with both Michigan State in Virginia. Both teems execute really execute quickly on a fence, but the defense by both teams is unbelievably aggressive and skilled, keeping the score low.

The one thing that looks to be lacking for both teams is that one highly skilled create your own shot scorer who can light it up from all over the floor. As for playing good team basketball, I haven't seen 2 better teams out there this year.

Do refs even know what a travel is anymore? It's an epidemic.

These refs have been atrocious on both sides.

Virginia and MSU pretty much foul each other everytime down the floor. college refs are in capable of identifying an over the back foul

This is like one of the old Big East physical slugfest rockfights. I'm impressed how big and athletic both teams are. Makes me think how much we need some players like these guys.

If the Rock turns into one of these type of players, we're good, though I'd like to see us add a taller and more athletic big dad to our front court.ewe We really need that type of player plus another handler.

MSU really can rebound the ball. I wish our team could rebounded anywhere close to as good as they do. We had so few second chance baskets this past season.

Izzo needs to bottle his post season coaching techniques. His teams always seem to peak post season. Sure they may not win Championships but they are always relevant and ready to do damage. It proves also that our Trophy wasn't luck by beating them last year.

Did they say his post season record is 20-4?

He is really a master of fundamentals and all his teams box out like demons. It really doesn't matter who his personnel is, he stil wins. That is the sign of a great coach.

Izzo is a great coach but this game was a gift, CCSU could have beaten Virginia today.
