Thanks to SMU's meltdown, looks like a UCLA team that didn't even deserve to make it will be in the Sweet 16.

This tournament going very smoothly for the Power 5 so far.

In a shocking development, UCLA is dominating in free throws.

The bigger injustice is that there isn't another NCAA game going head to head against Kentucky, so if we want to watch college basketball between the end of UAB/UCLA and 5:15, we have to watch the Squid. the NCAA.

UCLA looked pretty good to me today. They were also beating SMU for most of that game aside from when SMU made the run. They seem like a legit S16 team to me.

UAB played little to no D today. UCLA coming from the Pac12 is used to that.

Isaac runs a lot like Daniel, his little floater off the glass was like him, pretty crazy.

It wouldn't be a bad idea for Cincinnati try to get into a brawl with UK at the start of the game.

I'm curious as to how Cincy is going to be able to score at all in this game, given how offensively challenged they are (very similar to us) and how dependent on putbacks their offense is.

Also, I agree with the NCAA sentiment. They went out of their way to ensure that at least one of the only two schools (Wisconsin, Arizona) with a realistic shot at hanging with UK for 40 minutes would be knocked off before that opportunity.

Cinci is going to have a really tough time scoring inside, aside from offensive rebounds. If they can hit some 3s and limit UK on the offensive glass, they'll have a puncher's chance. I'll be rooting for them.

UK road to the final four is ridiculously easy... too easy... UNC, Wisconsin, Arizona, all in one region...duke also has a cake walk

I think the Bearcats will be over the limit by the twelve minute mark.

Cincy is so offensively challenged game being played to their pace thus far.

To be fair, I don't think any of the fouls have been unreasonable. In fact, they've let some go on each side and are largely letting them play. That definitely helps Cincy, since they have no bench and are a physical team.

I agree. Cinci is just a physical team, and they'll get fouls called on them. I just don't get how UK is allowed to go over the back on all of their offensive rebounds and consistently get away with it.

Don't wanna get my hopes up talent will most likely win out, those open shots are gonna fall. If Cincy plays it to their pace then you can live with the end result.
