It’s easy to say UNC would have been out if Memphis lost. I would like to know that before Memphis plays. It’s easy to just say that afterwards. There was no way we had a different reason to get UNC in if Memphis lost. And there there are different angles to determine who should be in. Just pick the one that can explain why a team made it over another. It’s quad one wins this year but next year it’s who you scheduled and then how you strong you finished and another year it’s the NET ranking that is most important. Yup, completely cynical about the committee. Too much is at stake to be fair. They’ll do as much as they can for the favored programs.
