And Brenda developed all of those players who went on to play in the finals this year. She did a particularly good job with unheralded players like Walker-Kimbrough and Brionna Jones. Both improved immensely over their 4 years with her. Same with Hawkins and pretty much any Terp that has gone to the W. She develops players extremely well when they stick around. Her NCAA results as of late have been underwhelming, but her team wasnt expected to be good the past two years. Plus most coaches go through lulls. Kim Mulkey just missed 6 straight Final Fours, Muffet was irrelevant most of the 2000s, Tara's program went 10 years without F4 from the late 90s-late 2000s, etc. Brenda has a very strong roster this year and will be ragged on if they underperform but she has proven to be an excellent coach by almost any standard.
