NCAA / NBA deadline commitment?

What is the deadline date on whether or not a player commits to the NBA? Is the actual draft? Thinking as long as long as a player doesn’t get paid they can wait until the last minute.

Deadline to declare is usually end of April and early June to withdraw. TBD for this year since Covid has changed the NBA Draft date
