The other comparison is to the UConn players - when a team focuses their defense on Lou they are pretty effective at holding her to 15 points, but then Napheesa goes off for 39, and when they focus on Napheesa and Lou, Gabby hits them with 24, or Kia goes off for 33, or Chong buries them with a dagger three, or Dangerfield hits for 19. That is what makes UConn so deadly and what makes players like EDD and Plum so exceptional - EDD did it alone, Plum has a very good sidekick, but neither of them have five starters that relieve the defensive pressure on any one player.
