NCAA made Oregon State take a 1:15am flight home after their loss the other day.

I thought that was the protocol? Teams have to leave the bubble immediately after losing.
The Yahoo article made it sound as though they would have rather slept there and left in the morning. They had no say in the matter. Probably the stupid protocols.

Cry me a river about taking a Chartered plane home on the redeye.

They will survive it.

The Bubble is why we had the tournament at all. That was the deal.

Next year we can get back to Div 1 players ordering 31 dollar carafe's of Orange juice from room service at the extended Four Seasons stays. This year, they had to slum it with a chartered jet home.

What a shonda

I had heard uconn was allowed to stay around after they lost, even to work out if they felt like it. I'm not sure though.

The ncaa should have booked rooms in a separate hotel for late games. Not sure why this is that big of a deal though. Without covid most would have been up late night anyways.

.-.
i’d prefer to sleep on a chartered red eye tbh. Also this was the deal, you lose, you get booted immediately. Nbd in my eyes

And the point of this is??????????????????????
You are questioning a governing body who allows coaches to continue their trade after being caught on tape luring recruits with money and a late night flight is the end of the world
Priorities??????

Just a lousy way to treat your cash cows.
