Would be an incredible accomplishment. UConn and Marquette just played 3 in 3 and even that led to what was clearly some dead legs with a ton of short shots. 5 in 5 is just an incredible feat.

It's just status, I hate the 8/9 second round match up. Those are typically dangerous teams.

IMO number 2 seeds are safer.

Gotta give State credit though. Sure their first two wins were only louisville and south canada, barely scrimmage games, but they did beat the top 3 teams in their conference.

That's a good point. I haven't looked at Auburn's schedule, but I think there might be a path for the SEC champion to get the 1 seed.

Why not the BE had three 1 seeds

The last 1 will either be UNC or ISU. I think Auburn gets the last 2 seed if they beat Florida tomorrow. Along with Tenn and Zona
