Good sign for Bazz and even Boat. A few players I noticed were under 6'1" and Trey Burke (6 feet) who was sent to Utah may even start. I'm talking first round. Hell Shane Larkin (Atlanta) is listed as 5'11".

Of course those players still must make the team and the league, but my assumption that height matters has been dis-proven. Great sign for our players going into this season, especially under and NBA player coach. I will say obviously the smaller guards were in the minority, but Bazz and Boat have the right pedigree, Coach and the 'kick ass' attitude to make it.

With that said Bazz to me should be the only one to the NBA next year as he'll be ready. Boat to me needs to be the Man (and gain more experience), which won't happen until his senior year. Let's hope Bazz stays healthy next season as he can't afford another injury at this time of his life.

there are small guys all throughout the NBA and its always been that way, its obviously an uphill battle being short but this board overdoes it with the height stuff. Bazz's biggest issue is really his body(strength/muscle) and athleticism, he's the exact same size as Kemba but not on his level athletically.

I think Boat might benefit from staying 4 years, but my sense is he doesn't want to be a 4-year guy, kind of an ego thing.

Small guys have little room for error. You could end up drafted like Larkin early, Siva very late, or Pressey, not at all. Delighted to see Bazz one more year, and hoping Boat stays longer too.
