Morning of the draft, what's everyone thinking for the UConn guys?

Hawk: 12 to OKC
Jackson: 35 to BOS
Sanogo: 48 to UTAH (Utah sends a few protected 2nd rounders to LAC)

I went with:
  • Hawkins: 11-14th (I think he'll be 14th)
  • Jackson: 35+ (I think he'll be in the 35-40 range. Teams scared off by his jumper)
  • Sanogo: Undrafted (teams scared off by his measurables, 6'7 without shoes)
Most of you will disagree with me re: Jackson/Sanogo, which is fair. I'm hoping they fall in the range @husky429 though.

Let me preface that I don't watch NBA basketball, but I have a decent read on what teams like.

Hawkins 15-19
Jackson 31-35
Sanogo 40-50

Draft day trades and packaging improved draft positions helps AS as well as 4/5s returning to college after NBA feedback... Has had strong workouts since Combine and buzz is increasing for him.

Edit: Gut feeling that Celts are interested in our guys if available with their draft position. Brad Stevens was at a few home games this year when they knew their draft position was #35.. Smart is now gone.. Would not be surprised if Nuggets scooped up Andre with the recently acquired Indiana pick(s)

Hawkins 15-19
Jackson 25-30
Sanogo 40-50

I think teams will favor guys like Sanogo in the second round with the new CBA. Cheap but proven producer.
Exactly this. Easier to just quote you then rewrite the exact same thing haha

Hawkins Top 10
Jackson 25-30
Sanogo 40-50

think Hawkins will go 8-10 to someone looking to trade for possible next Klay Thompson

AJ I think may go to Celtics at 25 or 35 to help fill passing/d/lockeroom role that Smart left, or to Nuggets at 29

Hawkins: Lottery Pick
Jackson: Top Half of Second Round
Sanogo: Bottom Half of Second Round

No matter how it turns out, I’m very proud of all three of these guys. All-time Huskies with a National Championship ring.
