Navy game prediction - poll

So what do you think? Do we make a big week 2 jump? Has Diaco been preparing for the option all summer and will have the guys ready? Was the Maine game the team's real level of play? Will we win? Will it be close?

A lot of questions will be answered after the game. I know the poll doesn't cover every possible scoring combination, but pick the one you think is closest to the most likely result.

I'll admit that I'm concerned, but won't pick against UConn.

If we start like we did against Maine we are screwed. But I think we will mix the run and pass effectively, possession the ball and score more than we did against Maine. Navy's pass defense is usually shaky so I look for BS to have a big day throwing to the TEs and also to hit the WRS for a few 20+ plays....if the line can hold up which is a big IF but I think they will. Also I think the D will force the newbie Navy QB into turning the ball over a few times. We win 27-21.

Comfortable win. Navy gave up yards by he bushel to Fordham. They are on their #2 qb who is trying to replace a legend. I think something like 31-17.

Just win baby... Getting this second W is so key in terms of defining the complexion of the season.

I think we can put up close to 30 points and keep them from big plays. Our run defense looked good last week, and I don't think Navy will really threaten us downfield. The option is difficult, but is going to rely on getting 4-6 first downs to score. Bend don't break can work well to defend it. If we can avoid big plays on D, we should come home with a W.
