- Spencer draws Edey away from bucket and drops it to Clingan for a dunk and an early lead.
- Diarra! Love the way we often turn seemingly broken plays on the perimeter into wide open layups, and he is almost always involved.
- Half way though the first half, foul trouble rearing it's ugly head. For both teams, really.
- Obvious goaltend on Edey not called at 5:45.
- Last possession of the half, worked it beautifully for Spencer's floater. That's usually a near guaranteed bucket. Shot didn't fall, but it was an otherwise perfect execution. As long as we work our plays like that, we should be good.
- At the half, Purdue has played 4 of their bench guys and gotten zero points from them.
- Tristen leading us in scoring with 11, Castle leading us in boards and assists (4 & 3).
- Speaking of assists, we have a 7 to 3 edge, but that's an uncharacteristically low number of dimes for us in a half.
- It's early in the 2nd half, we're up by 9, and I think if we could get 3 consecutive stops and score on at least 2 of the ensuing possessions, I'd at least be able to breath.
- Back court violation on Purdue leads to a dunk by Samson. Gets the lead to double digits. Wash, rinse repeat and it's 13.
- Diarra's 3 is deadly when he has a second, but not so great when he's rushed. His layins though, are always pretty. 16 point lead off his layin on the break.
- Mid-teens advantage from about 6 minutes into the 2nd half.
- We won every column in the box score except steals which were tied at 3.
- There were a bunch of ties in the first half, but we never trailed after taking a lead at 17:53 of the first.
