Yep, he doesn't believe any of what he's saying but it works for his players.

Every sports show in the country is saying they haven't ever seen what the UConn men are doing.

I think this is Hurley looking for slights to motivate his team, but I also think it would be a different level of hype if this were Duke doing what we're doing. That doesn't mean everyone is out to get UConn, but there are different levels of coverage

I wouldn't say he doesn't believe it, but he's kind of agnostic about whether it's true or not.

In reality, he's both right and wrong. He's wrong that we're not getting major props (which we are from at least the second tier of small-scale commentators). He's right that, if we were Duke or Kentucky we'd be leading off SportsCenter every night, which we're not.
