It seems you have to register to see the full USAToday rankings.

Just skimming the treetops:

#1 Mater Dei 14-0. Which Samuelson are we recruiting...Katie or Karlie...and what year is she?
Both seem to be doing just fine.

#3 Windward High 15-0...Jordan Canada

#4 St. Mary's...12-1...Ek. St. Mary's will need some help at this point to take the mythical national championship back to back.

Ossining dropped out of the top 25 and is listed among the best of the rest.

Karlie is 2013 and a very good SG. She'll be at Stanford with Bonnie next year.

Katie Lou, at 6'2", seems to be more of a SF/wing. She's one if the best, perhaps no. 1, in 2015. She's regarded as the best of the sisters. She had a great TOC as a soph!

They may get it since California has created an open division this year where all the top teams will be competing against each other in the playoffs. In the past they were spread out into the different divisions. D1 which Mater Dei played in wasn't always the strongest division. Windward always used to play in D4 which was the strongest division last year which was won by LCD. All of the top four divisions have at one time or another had the best teams compete in them. This year the best of the divisions will be combined to compete in the Open division. So who ever wins open will have had to run a more difficult gauntlet than even the old 16 team top bracket at Nike was.

Good info.

Super info...thank you! If you get to be courtside at one of the big games, offer us your wisdom on the elite kids.
