National Championship winners since 2000...

There have been 21 National Champions in Women's College basketball since 2000. (2020 was cancelled)
Here are the winners and the year they won the trophy:

Connecticut (10) - 2000, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2009, 2010, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016

Baylor (3) - 2005, 2012, 2019 (every 7 years)

Notre Dame (2) - 2001, 2018 (every 17 years... )

Tennessee (2) - 2007, 2008 (don't hold your breath..)

Maryland (1) - 2006
Texas A&M (1) - 2011
South Carolina (1) - 2017
Stanford (1) - 2021

Please note, this is since 2000. Illustrates how hard it is to win the National Championship multiple times, much less 10 times in 21 tries.

The only thing the NCAA loves is MONEY, they don't give a darn about parity or the Women's game. It shows by the recent report on the undercutting of the dollars that should have been going to WCBB for the tournament and for not allowing the "March Madness" tag being used for their tourney.

You are right about the money part and the lack of attention to all women's sports.

Explain to me why the NCAA has never granted UConn WBB a transfer waiver, while Louisville, ND, and GA Tech receive them fast and easy. They don't want the team with half of the Championships in the last 20 years to get another one. Its called parity

Actually it's Emmert's way of getting back at UConn and the State of Connecticut for addressing HIS mismanagement of $100 million dollars and a hundred fire and safety code violations during UConn's construction boom.
